It’s been awhile since I created a free printable for you but I’m happy to have teamed up with a great group of bloggers (organized by Kristen from Ella Claire) to offer you a collection of thirty free fall printables. Meaning, if you see something you like, all you have to do is click on the link in the blog post featuring the item that caught your eye and you’ll be able to download and print the image for FREE. In years past I made a watercolor Cinderella pumpkin painting and a Halloween banner for you to download (both still available), and this year I broke out the watercolors again to make fall placecards.

My printer is old and kind of stinks so the image came out a bit softened when I printed the fall placecards for myself, but you can see in the actual file that the painting is nice and crisp. If you have a better printer than I do, you’ll have better printing results, or you can upload the file to Staples’ website and have them print it for you on their high-tech printers for just a few dollars. Your placecards will function best if you use paper with a heavier weight than regular printer paper – this cardstock paper would be a good option. Click the image below to be taken to the free download (there should be a “download” button in the top right corner after you click).
I love using placecards for dinner parties or holidays. I know placecards might seem sort of formal and old fashioned but I’ve noticed that people always mill around the table at dinner parties and wait to be told where to sit. So you either have to quick assign seats or say, “Oh, sit wherever,” which is fine but seems to stress people out to have to choose a seat under pressure. But I’ve also noticed thats when placecards are on the table people walk in, take their seats happily, and no one is stressed! And they look cute too, so bonus. Also cute (adorable, actually) are these teeny, tiny dried pumpkins I’ve had for at least ten years now. I use them around the house every single fall. I can’t believe they’re still available but they are! Click here to see them (currently 20% off with code FALL too).

I made the fall placecards foldable so you don’t need placecard holders to prop them up. Just cut them out, fold across the center line, and set where you like on your table. And, just saying, if you don’t have a paper cutter (like this small one) it might just be the best $11 you spend this year. I bought one years ago and you would not believe how I often I use it!

I hope you have the chance to download, print, and use these fall placecards in the coming months. I made them sort of fall-neutral so you could use them for dinner parties, birthday dinners, fall holidays, whatever you have coming up! You could even print and fold a bunch, wrap them with twine, and give as a fall hostess gift.
Make sure you look through the other fall printables below too. Remember, everything you see is offered for FREE so click anything you like and it’s yours!
