Today I’m sharing the first part of my summer home tour with you as part of a blog hop organized by Marty from A Stroll Thru Life. If you’re coming here from Decorating Delirium, hello and welcome! I know I’ve said this before but I generally keep my summer decorating very, very simple and this year is no different. In summer, I want to be outdoors enjoying the warm days and not inside fussing over rooms and decorations.
For today’s tour, I took some photos of my eight year old daughter’s room, which is light, bright, cheery and feels like perpetual summer to me as well as my screened porch, which becomes our living room, family room, and dining room in the summer months. I’ll be sharing my outdoor deck and patio spaces and my living room with you next week and that will be it for the summer home tours this year because not every space in my house is decorated for summer. And you shouldn’t feel like yours needs to be either! Do what’s fun for you and what you’ll use this time of year.
