My wheels have been spinning over here and things are starting to come together for the completion of the breakfast nook in the back of my kitchen that I plan to do this year. The kitchen renovation was a long work in progress and one that was done on a very tight budget. For all its imperfections and quirks, I really love how the kitchen came together. The breakfast nook is the last remaining piece and I’ve been busy putting plans together for how it will look and function. I’m still noodling over fabric for the built-in bench (not yet built), a couple of accent pillows, and possibly a cornice board over the windows, but here’s a look at where the design is heading. The existing light will stay but everything else is getting upgraded.
Patterned pillows
Navy velvet pillows
Drum pendant light
Coated canvas buffalo check fabric
Abstract art print
Rattan chairs
Leather side chairs
Farmhouse table
The new table has arrived and it is so fab! I’ll share some photos and more details with you next week and I think some of the other pieces will start coming together soon. Stay tuned…
