I’ve been eyeing the little accent tables Target has been putting out the past several months but haven’t pulled the trigger on any…until recently. What’s really grabbed me lately are their gold-bottomed tables.

So which one finally came home with me? #3 – the faux shell inlay table. And, bonus, it’s on sale right now online!
I love the shape of the top and the legs, and the faux inlay is a really nice, subtle detail.
The table’s open legs and cream top with gold bottom add a lighter look the room needed, with the coffee table being such a solid, heavy piece.
Bigger changes are happening in this room already. That wall behind the hexagonal table has been opened up and we’re waiting on the plumber to come move some pipes around. I’ve also been painting sample squares all over the walls to try to pick the new color/s. So far no winner – back to the hardware store for more samples tomorrow!
