I have two daughters, and they’re not particularly the rough-and-tumble type but they’re still playful little kids and their clothes get dirty and worn so I don’t like to spend a ton of money on their everyday garb. This doesn’t mean I’m not drawn to cute clothes, though!
Two of the first stops I always make are Gap Kids and Old Navy Kids. The prices are usually reasonable and the clothes are cute and stand up to repeated wearing and washing. But, you see, I can still be kind of a cheapo and like to wait for a sale. So you can imagine how excited I was to be selected to participate in an ad campaign during Old Navy’s Kids & Baby Sale, going on now until February 20th. Cute little girl clothes and a great sale?…yes, please!
I had a blast pulling clothes off the racks and mixing and matching. One of the great things about getting a few outfits all together was that a lot of the clothes coordinated so only a handful of items can go together in myriad ways and make lots of different outfits.
Ada, my four year old, wears almost exclusively skirts and dresses, so while I saw some super cute rompers and pants, I stayed safe and bought all outfits with skirts and dresses.
I was immediately drawn to this adorable double-button top and pin dot denim skirt.
And how adorable are the gold woven sandals? I would wear them if they made a women’s version.
I also picked up this cute and comfy navy and white striped t-shirt dress with an embellished cotton cardigan.
I was really impressed by the quality of the cardigan, it was 100% cotton, thickly knit, and super soft.
This ruffled pintuck dress has the same coral color in it as the cardigan.
The coral leggings work with this dress or with the navy striped dress above.
I love all the mix-and-match possibilities here! I had so much fun participating in this campaign and will definitely keep checking out Old Navy Kids offerings. Remember, you have until February 20th to take advantage of their sale prices in stores and online!
If you follow me on Instagram (click here to follow) you already saw that I also found this striped t-shirt dress for myself :) …
…and then inadvertently matched my entire family on our way out to brunch over the weekend!
Doesn’t my hair look so dark in this photo?? Not sure why.
