Thanks so much for checking out some of my favorite home and food reads this week! Today is my last full day of vacation…unless, that is, our flight home tomorrow gets canceled because of the massive blizzard hitting Boston as you read this. I am not thinking our chances are very good of getting home tomorrow, and all the flights Sunday and Monday are booked full, so it seems likely our vacation will get extended a bit into next week. Honestly, I’m not even sure I’m hoping to get home tomorrow to two feet of snow and the projected power outages. Can someone remind me why I live in New England??
Far away from the Boston blizzard is the author of my home pick for you today. Megan writes Honey We’re Home from Houston, TX, where she also writes Honey We’re Healthy, does contract legal work, and is a Stella & Dot stylist. Did I mention she is a fitness dynamo and has a young son and husband, too? She’s such an inspirational person and a total sweetheart. I’ve loved getting to know her a bit while contributing healthy recipes to Honey We’re Healthy and am so grateful for all of her support!
But today is about Honey We’re Home, where we get peeks into Megan’s stunning home and she shares tips for organizing and decorating with style. Megan’s closet is to die for.
How gorgeous is that light fixture? And the shoe shelving? Love.
I love the marble counters, mix of white and dark wood cabinetry, and industrial-inspired pendant lights in Megan’s kitchen.
