I can’t remember when my love affair with scarves began, but I adore how a plain T and a pair of jeans (let’s be honest – my daily uniform) is suddenly transformed when you add a scarf.
The storing of them in an orderly and easy-to-find manner has evaded me until very recently, though. I’d fold them neatly on a shelf but before I knew it, they’d be in a tangled pile and finding the one I was looking for took forever.
When I came across these shower curtain hooks I knew instantly that they’d be perfect for keeping my scarves neat and organized.
They hug the hanging rod perfectly and don’t slide around at all, plus the T-shape in the front provides the perfect little slot for a scarf to tuck into.
I love that I can see them all at a glance when I’m getting dressed and also how easy it is to hang them up at the end of the day.
I had an open hanging space in my closet, but if you don’t have this, anywhere you could mount a small rod would work.
The only downside is that my scarves are also now highly visible, and right at eye level, for a certain pilfering three-year old who loves to wear them as capes, togas, dresses, headwraps, etc.
Anyone have a surefire way to get a three-year old to clean up after herself?!
