Happy Memorial Day!
Today is the big Inspire Me DIY reveal day I’ve been talking and hinting about, and my twelve cohorts and I are showing off the projects we’ve so busily been working on for the past week.
We were blown away by all of the enthusiasm and loved seeing the projects you jumped in with!
I’ll be sharing a tutorial for my project on Wednesday and will also feature some of my favorite participant projects then as well.
Now, without further delay…here is my Inspire Me DIY project!
I started with a cheapie tray from Home Goods…
…and turned it into an antiqued rope mirror for my screened porch.
I hit a few roadblocks along the way (so typical anytime I do a new DIY project!), which I’ll share with you as part of the tutorial on Wednesday.
I love the finished mirror – it’s the perfect classic, casual piece for my favorite indoor/outdoor room. I’ve been working hard in there the past few weeks, getting things all cleaned and updating some furniture pieces (like, ahem, the bar cart above!). Details on all of that coming soon!
But back to that rope mirror. Isn’t she cute?
Be sure to check out what the other ladies have been up to (links below), and don’t forget to stop back Wednesday for the rope mirror tutorial!
[…] As promised, here is the tutorial for making the rope mirror I showed you on Monday. […]
